inside to take a neck victory in the
$75,500 New Mexican Spring Fling at 300 yards.
Under Tony Guymon, One Diamond Kitty held off a game bid from Now He Blazes
to collect the first prize monies of $45,300. The winner was clocked in a fast
15.027
seconds, good for a 99 speed index. The two-year-old gelded son of Genuine
Strawfly

trains
the unbeaten New Mexico-bred Quarter Horse.
Sunday’s main events are the $342,850 New Mexican Spring Futurity (4th race) and
the
$113,490 Bank of America New Mexico Challenge (3rd race).

in trial winners: Cartel Shooter, Southern Passer, Bp Shes Southern and
Hearts Runaway.
The New Mexican Spring Futurity winner earns a cool $160,992.
Sunland Winter Quarter Horse Derby winner and West Texas Maturity runner-up
Heavenly Trip rates the favorite in the Bank of America New Mexico Challenge at
