Freddie Martinez wins 4 races on Friday

 

Freddie Martinez, the nation’s second leading Quarter Horse rider in money won last year,

piloted four winners from six mounts on Friday’s card at Sunland Park Racetrack and

Casino.

 

Martinez came out a winner quickly in the first race at 870 yards aboard the 9-5 favorite

Check Your Flag. He won the second half of the daily double with Serenas Flash who paid

$13.40 on a $2 win ticket.

 

Casino Bambino was the third Martinez ridden winner in the 4^th race. The 3-1 shot returned

$8.00 to win.

 

The young rider capped off his terrific day with an impressive score aboard Bullets Brother

in the 5^th race. The favorite paid $5.60.

 

In all, Freddie Martinez won races totaling $93,800 in purses.
